the staff was polite and catered to our every need. the hotel was in a fantastic location close to a shop on arrival as well as many restaurants including fabulous Clifton Cafe for breakfast.

The rooms were well decorated and modern with all the necessary extras with lovely beds. The hotel was near the beach and close to South and North Marine Parks. Was in a nice enough area and near cafés and bars.

The location of the hotel was particularly good and marvelous - approx 10-15 minutes' walk from North East Maritime Trust. the standard queen room was stylish and nicely decorated with all the necessary extras.

My 1 night in South Shields was nice! I had a warm welcome, helpful and courteous staff. The standard queen room was modern with all the necessary extras, the bed was very comfy.
